Marketplace Leaders event focused on collaboration, transformational leadership

In a time marked by division, burnout, and growing pressure on leaders across every sector, Marketplace Leaders is inviting Kamloops community members to a conversation about a different way forward.

Danielle Strickland will headline the next Marketplace Leaders Speaker Series event on May 27, where she will give a presentation called Reimagining Power: From Control to Transformation.

The event will explore how leadership can move toward models that create trust, collaboration and lasting impact in workplaces, communities and organizations.

“People have a desire for leadership that is authentic, courageous, and transformational,” said Aleece Laird, one of the Marketplace Leaders committee members.

“Danielle brings a perspective that is both deeply practical and incredibly relevant for the world we are living in right now.”

Strickland is known internationally for her work in leadership development, justice initiatives, spiritual formation and organizational transformation. She has spoken around the world, authored several books and worked with leaders across business, nonprofit, faith and community sectors.

According to Marketplace Leaders, attendees can expect an engaging and thought-provoking morning event focused on practical leadership insights, navigating complex power dynamics and building a team culture rooted in trust.

The event takes place May 27 from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Sandman Signature Hotel. Tickets are $40, which includes the keynote, networking and breakfast. Additional event information and a link to purchase tickets can be found at here.
